I have finally found the secret to making money online. Ready for it?
There is NO SECRET to making money online.
There is no "push this button" and check your bank account for massive amounts of money. There is no "post this link at this site" and you'll make a million. It simply doesn't work like that, no matter how many of the "guru's" try to sell you these things.
Have you heard of the 80/20 rule? It's also called the "Pareto principle".
According to wikipedia:
"The Pareto principle (also known as the 80-20 rule,[1] the law of the vital few, and the principle of factor sparsity) states that, for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes."
Basically what it means is that for anything that happens 80% of the effect is created by 20% of the people. In the business world, it means that 80% of the money is made by 20% of the people.
In the world of online marketing, I would even venture to say that the rule is 90/10. I'm going out on a limb to say that out of 100% of the people doing online marketing, only 10% are making the money they want.
Think about it, how many famous online marketers are there? Sure there are some big names out there but compare the number you can count to the number of people doing this. Think about the number of people you personally know. See what Im saying?
Why am I telling you all of this?
Because Im like you.
I've been doing this for about 8 years off and on and I am nowhere near rich. Sure, I've had some success but I've had a lot of failures.
The sad thing is, I have known the whole time why I wasn't making the money I wanted.
You see, doing this for 8 or so years, I have made friends with people who ARE making big money. Hell, one of my good friends made $50,000 in a year with a product that he didn't actively market.
Let me take that back. He did market it for about a week. Then something happened and he couldn't focus on his marketing. Still, after a year, he had made $50,000 for a weeks worth of effort.
This guy has lots of crazy cases like this. Maybe I should just interview him and sell that.
Anyway, to get back to the point.
I know exactly why I'm not making the money that I want and I know why you're not either.

Let me elaborate a little bit.
I have been a web designer and programmer for 10 years now. I have been a graphic designer for longer. I enjoy researching and learning new things. I enjoy writing. I have friends who know exactly what to do to make money online and these friends have tried to get me in on the action. In a few cases it has worked very well.
Sounds like I not only have my foot in the door but I have a rent free room in the house, doesn't it?
I should be rich right now but I'm not.
You see, the friend that made $50,000 has no design skill and no programming background. Over these past 8 years, I have been able to identify a few things about myself. Things that have confined me to making a few thousand when I could have made tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands on the same product(s).
I've discovered a few traits that I have that have allowed me to start creating only to never finish and see somebody else launch the same thing and take the money. Traits that had me create about 12 products that are still sitting on my hard drive (not for long) even though they WILL MAKE MONEY.

That's not a typo. In my experience, I have blown some big chances. I have both figuratively and literally turned down money. I know exactly why I'm not making the big bucks and I know that you are failing for the same reason(s).

I'm going to share those traits with you. I'm going to admit to you the failures that I have had.
